002299 WW1 US Army 339th, Russian Expeditionary Force Camouflage Helmet, RARE

WW1 US Army 339th Infantry Russia Original Camouflage Painted helmet with liner and chin strap. Shows age, but entire helmet is 100% original and guaranteed for life!  Has the "339" on front and "Russia" across the dome and the walking white polar bear on opposite side of the 339 and with camo colors. This is the classic standard US North Russia Camo helmet. In the 1970s I interviewed scores of North Russian and Siberian Veterans, and I only came up with three of these Camo helmets.  If you don't have a copy of our book that we did on North Russian entitled: Quartered in Hell--History of the American North Russian Expeditionary Forces 1918-1919 let me know and I will ship you one with the Helmet.
